I’m definitely posting about my headboard soon! I’m actually getting ready to make one for my mom within the next few weeks. Hers will be a little different so it will be interesting comparing the two.
I think ill just have you come redo my house next. You have plenty of time for that right? 😉 And making soup! hehe

Hey! So I’ve been waning to make a bed and tufted headboard. I came across yours and love everything about it. I had a few questions for you. Do you know the dimensions of yours and how for apart the buttons are? Also what kind of fabric did you you? Ive seen tutorials with people using just about all kinds but yours is by far my favorite. Also do you know the size of buttons you used for you cover kit and about how thick was the foam layer? Thanks in advance!

The dimensions of the headboard are shown in the drawing on the blog post. I think I used the 7/8″ Dritz button cover kits but you can really use any size you’d like. One of the headboards uses upholstery fabric (from Hancock Fabrics) and it’s pretty think. Then the headboard with the nailhead trim is much thinner. It’s more of a natural linen. I believe I bought it at Joann Fabrics. The foam is about 3 or inches thick. The thicker the foam, the more indented you can make your buttons. Thanks for reading my post!
